The Ultimate Reason You Failed? You Never Tried

Body image for article: The Ultimate Reason You Failed? You Never Tried!
To be successful at something, you must immerse yourself in it.
In this era, where people get “followers” for posting a picture, it’s easy to minimize your efforts; but don’t.
Irrespective of your field, there is an established way to do things that you must use.
The steps to mastery are practical:
– Identify your talent(s).
– Learn all you can about your craft.
– Spend a significant amount of time developing your skills.
– Continually refine your abilities.
The process above is key, the outline you’ve been looking for to realize your potential. However, it is not complete. One very important aspect is missing.
Desire.
You must provide the fuel to make the process tangible.
Daily, rain or shine, you must work. There are no days off (unless scheduled and well deserved). Forget hanging out with your boys, parting or chasing women. All nonsense must fall by the wayside if you’re serious about creating the life you want.
Is success easy? No. Otherwise lazy people would be noteworthy.
In fact, developing your talents is boring. They’ll be days when you’re fed up, tired of living a structured life with so little gain, and downright sick of the entire process. I know this feeling well, having been there many times.
Don’t despair. There’s a simple solution. It’s so obvious people often overlook it in favor of more complicated responses.
The only thing you have to do, or should I say not do, is quit.
No matter how discouraged you get, don’t stop. If you do, years from now, after you’ve compromised and settled, you’ll wonder why you got all twisted over nothing. (The regret will eat you alive.)
Frustration is part of the process. Everything you experience, the highs and lows, are normal. Don’t sweat them, just keep going. You can never fail if you try.
Feelings pass, throwing away your dreams is forever.
Later,
Gary
