Titles Mean Nothing

Forget titles.
It’s amazing how many guys think they’re grown men, yet eagerly supplicate to so-called authority figures.
When the wannabe has nothing to lose, he’s quick to jump in people’s faces – only to timidly retreat when confronted by someone whose status he respects.
Even worse, are dudes that feel important because of a title given on them.
Before the promotion they were cool, now they’re busting balls and playing serious overseer. (Such behavior is cowardly and feminine. Never stand for it!)
Forget hard fronts, it’s time to wake up.
How can you be a powerful man when you’re basing your identity on a label someone gave you? Even if you believe a come-up is deserved, you’re still approval-seeking by accepting the title giver as a source of good feelings.
Let’s take it to another level.
Do you think calling yourself a “boyfriend” or “husband” innately means something? That it will keep your woman from cheating or leaving? (Men with solid life experience know the answer – Hell no!)
Stop idealizing! We give titles of importance by agreement. Their value is relative. If everyone isn’t on the same page, labels are meaningless.
Besides, a grown man doesn’t need to be given anything to feel good about himself. He’s in control of his mental frame and accepts himself unconditionally. He sees through superficial differences and knows everyone is the same – human.
Weak people need “things” to identify with, and neediness is never attractive.
Obsessing over titles and materialism are misguided attempts to lessen the complications of life by avoiding pain and seeking security. This kind of thinking sidesteps the root cause of fear – death.
When you accept the inevitable, you appreciate life’s infinite wonders and realize your true potential. These are important steps for becoming a confident, independent man.
Stay strong.
Later,
Gary
